    emergency lighting in student house

    Can any one tell me if you need em lighting in a student house max of 5 people over 3 floors I am wiring a fire alarm system at the moment I have told the landlord that I think em lights are needed (has anyone got a copy of BS5266 by any chance) thanks.

    practical books

    Does anyone know of any good electrical books covering the more practical side of things (the building side) such as how to rewire a house, install SWA, with pictures etc. Most of the books cover the theoretical side, but there don't seem to be many on the practical. Marc
