I would ask my daughter, but she’s on study leave for exams.
Basically I want a graph that will compare readings from 3 different electric meters.
I want to graph the difference between each reading, not a gradually increasing line.
I’m trying to compare what my hot tub consumes, compared...
In a former life on another forum as well as this one.... there were a whole heap of downloads that people had done as ready-reckoners for things like Cu eq for various armour sizes, R1R2 values on lengths.. useful stuff. I think I might even have generated some myself.
Anyone have any...
Anyone know the ZS for an 1361 or BS 88-3 50A fuse. All the tables I find have n/a. I phoned the maker and was told there are no listed ZS' for a 50A and to take the difference between the next closest sizes (45A & 60), surley thats not proportional ?
Is there a reason that the tables in 7671, don't reference the standards for cables. The cables are embossed with the standard it would be much easier if the table referenced the bs numbers it applied to.
I know it's not difficult to work out but it leaves it open to interpretation.
Wiring for a new kitchen, client is having all new stainless steel tables, have these all got to be bonded. If yes what size earth cable do you suggest.
Regards
Just a quick one folk.
Do the voltage drop tables in the BGB apply for ELV systems?
I'm converting my van to a camper so I'd adding 12v circuits for lighting, water pump etc.
It's all going to be run in 3183Y flexible cable, can I use the VD values per mA/m in the regs, the same way as I...
looking at zs readings for type b bs60898 circuit breakers in bs7671 "page58" and looking at page 121 in the guidance notes 3 and seeing different readings??
For reference these are the Zs tables from BS7671 Amendment 3, provided by Amberleaf.
I have cleaned up the scans a bit which is why they may look a bit odd round the edges.
Remember IET have also issued the corrected tables for the latest GN3 page 121 table A4 and OSG table B6 which are...

Which table do you use in BS7671 for volt drop for LSF Twin and Earth? There does not appear to be a table for LSF cable. 4D5 refers to the grey PVC cable and is not the right one to use for the white LSF. Any help would be appreciated.
Hey guys i was looking at, the onsite guide and the tables with in it and I am finding them a little confusing to read/interperet. Can someone clarify this for me? Specifically table 7.1(i) the installation methods i can't seem to find them in the bs 7671 regs book, or they dont match up in both...

Studying the Electricians and On Site Guide tables (for my Domestic Electricians course with OLCI) and the cable sizes all have double entries in the tables 4.1.1, 4.1.2, 4.1.3. That is the Cable csa for different circuits show 2.5/1.5, 6/2.5 etc.

I cant work out what needs to be bonded in a commercial kitchen.
Commercial kitchens have lots of free standing metal work tops & work benches, so do these need to be cross bonded and have a earth taken back to the DB?
Also for the sinks in commercial kitchens do they need bonding?
I cant seem...
