Im doing a job in a 10 year old house nothing major just extending a cooker circuit and adding a few downlights. the cu has the rings on rcd with two spare ways, can i simply put the cooker / lights mcbs onto the rcd side ? sorry for the amateurish question :yes:

Roller shutter door switch

Hi just a quick question.......I have a switch which is being used for a roller shutter door, it simply has 1 wire for common and 1 each for up and down. I belled out between common and both directions to check it was working fine which it was, so it is working how it should.........it might...

Fuse head blank help

Max disconnection times for 50a shower circuit ?

Hi guys, Just doing an EIC for a recent dis board change, I also installed a 50a (type b 60898) shower circuit for an 11.5KW shower. I am looking through my regs trying to find whether it comes under the 5s disconnection time...? I know 0.4s is for circuits less than 32A and non-distribution...
