Need a multimeter for tool bag

Twin and Earth 2.5mm - From tool station

Hi all I was in need of some 2.5mm twin and earth for a spur, was passing tool station and called in. Got Twin & Earth Cable (6242Y) Grey 2.5mm2 x 25m - But when looking at the cable its got written on it: 2.5mm + 1.5mm. So it looks like the live and neutral is 2.5mm but the earth is 1.5mm...
