Hi, I have been tasked with installing 3 phase ring main in a tool room. X6 16A sockets. Each pice if kit will pull no more than 5A. Planning on using 4mm SWA cable protected by a 63A breaker. Tool room dimensions are 7M X 5M. Any problems with this?

Wow!! I love it.
Half the chase I did with just the sds, the other half with the metabo. The chase is 20mm deep and 30mm wide. The...

I'm doing an increasing amount of stuff with Stainless Steel ties, sometimes for purely decorative reasons, and obviously they're not very friendly even with gloved hands. Are the tension/cut devices worth the money and does anyone have a brand/model recommendation if so?
Hi,
I work with caravans and I often see this termination of cables and am intrigued what tool creates it, my Google foo has failed me so thought I would ask here. Hopefully the picture is clear enough, as looking at it now it's a bit out of focus.
I have cancelled my Amazon Prime membership and will no longer be using them to buy tools or anything else online.
I would like recommendations for a tool supplier, ideally UK based, that has a wide selection of products. Maybe someone with a loyalty scheme to incentivise repeat custom?

A few days ago I came across a pic that showed channel lock pliers "feeding" two small wrenches a bolt. Really wholesome picture and as such I was wondering if I could share it on some other forums. With that said, does anyone have it? I can't seem to find it.

Hi all,
Just to be clear, this is not for cutting off the excess when installing stainless ties, I already have the Partex tool for that. I mean removing them at a later date, and not damaging the existing cables.
Aviation snips are no good, you can't get the jaws in far enough to where it...

Hi,
I just bought a Nova 2218 hair cutting tool from Amazon.

The device seemed very light to me, so i doubted there was...
Iv got so much stuff I'd decided to make a kit out of the spares. It's all still got lots of life and would be perfect for a apprentice or someone looking for a kit bag complete with tools.
Things to note...
One of the zips on the bag is broken but it can all still be zipped shut as the bag...
@gaz101 's thread got me thinking about stripping all my scrap cables rather than taking them in for weighing with all the insulation on.
The cable I have is nearly all 1mm-6mm. I realise many of you feel it is not worth the time stripping the smaller cables but I would be quite happy spending...
