Hello
Can anybody tell about touch leakage testing and when it should be done. We have a seaward europa plus unit that seems to divert to touch testing when we are testing class 2 items. Any info on this would be great.

am i right on saying, i have tested two ring mains on db, they are 32a b type breakers there eli tests came back as 0.60 0.58. these are acceptable values, table 2d osg these circuts are protected by a 30ma rcd does this mean these readings would still be ok to the value of 1667ohms as stated on...
I know according to approved document M of the Building regs that switches are to be installed at a maximum height of 1600mm, but do the building regs apply on a farm? it's a completely new build shed

After our recent NICEIC inspection, we were advised to earth ALL arrays by the inspector.
This is apparently common practice in other countries due to the chance of capacative coupling causing an AC voltage to occur on the panel array.
Due to the various safety features used in inverters...

Help!
Sorry having a bad day.
I understand the concept behind touch contact of 50v and the above 1666 ohms. But when physically testing with 17th ed dilog and testing a TT system 30mA RCD. At 1x and 5X what reading would you see on your meter? or would you just test the mechanical aspect...

I'm only domestic but I need to get this straight in my nut.
Cheers guys.
