Hello all,
Im after a new ford transit, not sure if to contract hire or lease for 3 years?
What are peoples experiances of these deals?
And does anyone know of a good deal out there at the minute?
Thank you.
I think I've somehow managed to upset the central locking on my transit (mk7) as when you lock it all up, it seems to think there's a door still open in the back, locks the front only and then beeps. I'm pretty sure it's not a mechanical issue (unless a sensor has just failed) - anyone have any...
Hi all, my transit packed in before christmas,.. long story short but was going to cost me more to fix it than what it was worth (2002 swb/ lr transit with 180000 on the clock). I scrapped it for a few hundred quid and have been using my car for a few months now.
I promised myself a new van...

Alternator working correctly
With vehicle idle & all of there is a discharge if 0.31A
Is this correct ?
Is there anything which could cause a draw in the battery like this ?
Would a draw in the batteries of 0.31A be enough to drain a charged...

A light has came on the dash, when you look at manual it says the drive train, which when you look online it relates to egr valve or some say needs to go on diagnostic ..
Any if you guys have transit and can enlighten me...
Hello,
Lost my key fob a while ago now and think its time for another one. Not too bothered about a key fob but want a fob. I believe there are some fobs you can get that you can programme yourself.
Anyone had any dealings with any or know where i can get one?
Thank you.
Hi all, getting a tax rebate from the lovely HMRC very soon hopefully, looking to buy a van with some of it, if anyone's got a 58-59 plate VW Caddy going fully loaded for about 200 quid that'd be perfect ;) seriously though, looking for something around the vauxhall combo/ transit connect size...

As above really! I'm in the market for my own van and need help deciding what to go with.
I currently drive Transits and Sprinters quite often for another job, but I think the fuel burn would be unreasonably high for me to have something that large myself.
Bit of a ---- up between the smaller...
Hey guys, i guess this is the correct place to post this. I'm looking at getting my own van and just wondering which ones you would recommend as the best sparky van, and what kind of racking systems you use? Any pics of vans and racking systems would be very grateful.
Cheers

I picked up a copy of the practical electrician mag today and in there is a review on the new ford transit!
What can i say, i wasn't very impressed, looks like it has been squashed and a bit girly from the pictures!
Mods feel free to move this, couldn't make up my mind where to put it!
The 'water in your diesel filter' light has come on in my 56 plate T280, but nothing actually seems to be wrong and I've done 200 miles without incident.
It may just be the sensor?
Any astronomers here who have any clear skies for tomorrow?
For the last time for 112 years Venus will transit across the face of the sun at dawn tomorrow and it is clouded out!
I saw the last one by nipping out of a meeting early but I don't think this will help this time, sorely disappointed...
Hi

Chaps,
Just looking at buying a van and currently stuck between a VW Caddy & a Transit Connect. Not sure if I actually need to go bigger than that (doing purely domestic PV & electrical) as I always get the panels delivered direct to site etc.
The Caddy looks to be better on fuel, and just...
