My brother has not long called me and has informed me that the washing machine keeps tripping the RCD.
Just wondered the inspection procedure to narrow down the actuall fault?

I have a problem with a light tripping a rcd etc.
All the circuit tests out good.
No tripping when a bulb not in and voltage is correct when i put across L and N
When i place a bulb in the fitting it trips.
