    Is there a tube holder made for LED tubes T8?

    I'm not actually fitting any LED tubes but I like to be prepared! I cannot find any LED tube holders for a T8 LED tube, they all seem to be for fluorescents so you would have to remove the ballast and also replace the tube holder sockets.     Changing fluorescent tube fittings to pendant.

    Hi, I have removed 2 strip light fittings from the attic ceiling and would be most grateful if anyone could give some advice as to wiring some pendant fittings. The single wire seems straight forward but am not sure what to do with the double wires. Many thanks

    Old slip tube

    Any body like to guess, how old this method of conduit pre thread, slip tube, I would say late 1800's, but I am sure it was not till well after the 1900's. Any one like to put an date to it.?

    tube motors

    Might be the wrong section if so sorry. I been to look at a tubulular motor which lifts up a bar hatch no labels or nothing on the old one. Now all the new motors are marked in newton metres any idea how to work out what weight they lift the main ones seem to be 80NM .......any ideas guys...

    Quick Fluorescent tube?

    Hi, I've just been to both Wickes and Screwfix to get a replacement 1500mm x 36mm fluorescent tube. However, both places said that they haven't seen the 36mm tubes for a long time! Screwfix suggested to try the 26 mm tube in the fitting and see if it works as the pins are exactly the same width...

    Im looking for an LED tube light, complete fitting, 5Ft. Has anyone used any they can recommend? And rough price? I have seen the JCC one, looks quite good at £70 roughly is pricey, i need to change about 50 fittings for these in a storage warehouse.

    flourescent tube

    Just been to a small job replacing a 5 foot tube , I put the new tube in , switched on mains , their was then a large blue flash from on side of the tube ( no bang ) and the tube had died . Can anybody tell me the reason for this?
