    UK Electrical PLC Control Panel

    We have a Electrical PLC Control Panel that has to supply 45 Fused Spur units, do I need to protect these with an RCD, we have a 10A Type D MCB at the moment. Each Fused spur controls an electronic Volume/Pressure controller which is rated at 130mA.

    Evening..Just wondering if it's acceptable to run 3 separate consumer units off one 3 phase meter, I have seen 3 consumer units off 3 meters on a 3 phase supply many times but never off 1 meter? Cheers

    Hi! Could any electricians estimate how long it would take to replace 4 consumer units.

    The consumer units are in outdoor buildings, each running minimal lights & 2 plug sockets. The cables are all in place, it's literally just replacing four old consumer units with new ones. Tia!

    Proving units maximum voltage

    I decided,having lived with using a live circuit, to buy a proving unit. I opted for a Kewtech Prove 4 which covers 5 voltages between 690volts and 50 volts.     Why neutral and hot reversed only when a/c is turned on?

    I have tenants that have 3 fairly new small a/c units all the same and when any of them are turned on my tester reads hot & neutral reversed. The 15 amp circuit that feeds these units has no ground wire. Is this normal or could these a/c units be wired wrong from the factory?
