Where to live while studying
So i've decided to take a 10 week c&g 2330 course, but all the training centres are more than a daily commute away from my house. Is there anyone else in the same boat and wht do you do in that situation? Do any training centres offer reasonable accomodation as well?- DafyddM

Hello all, been a while since I visited but what an improvement. There were hardly any users when I first found electriciansforums but seems to be quite a gathering these days. Strangest,Funniest or most amazing things you found while working in somebody's house
I'm re-wiring a old house at the moment that was built back in the 1800's I was lifting some of the floor-boards when i found a newspaper wedged in between the joices...The date on it was June 26th 1947 :eek: It was still in decent condition,It was funny reading about what was in the news back...- IrishSparks

help with finding zs with rcd
hi can anyone help me with zs when testing zs using my metrel eurotest meter with a rcd . i canot get a correct reading . i have tryed the meter on diffrent settings but still cannot get it right. i have to get zs by caculation .when doing the test the rcd will trip out- marty1234

worst job ever.
there was a thread a while back asking people what there worst job was i stated mine as a cable void in scunthorpe that was about a meter hight, we had to re wire it, murder. i would like to retract that statement and go with my current job.
