Hi folks, Just wondered if anyone is a regular user of Sangamo timers. I need to replace one, only because the cable cover on the bottom is missing, exposing non sheathed cables. Having looked at the prices £100 + depending on model, I'm wondering if they are worth the money or if a cheaper...

Those of you who have trained to install solar panels, was it worthwhile? Have you seen the benefits? And has anyone gone through all the training and regretted it as a waste of money?
I'm curious to see what you all think before I make a decision to train...
I'm starting to think a PV system just isn't worth investing in for my roof, considering only 9 panels and the roof faces just 18 degrees south of due west.
Another factor seems to be how much of the electricity generated could be used, rather than sold. I'm thinking of it all ways round, but I...

I taught a PAT Testing training course in a hotel last week. My customer, who organised the course, had told the hotel staff I was coming, and it seems they panicked, and booked somebody to come in and test their own stuff. I think they were worried in case I noticed that they hadn't had it...

I already have the up to date OSG (green) and red Building regs book. Is this book worth buying? I cant find any helpful reviews that actually explain a bit about what is in it.
Thanks.
