Hi everyone, I'm off to Florida next week & need to check if things will work when plugged in. I know the voltage is different but I'm assuming things will still work or you couldn't get an adaptor? Any info you've got would be really helpful.
Thanks Ian

All i can find is 17mph but this is for roofers and scaffolders and not specific to PV.
Anyone?
Thanks in advance :tt1:

I must be confused about some wording,
Light circuit R1+R2 is 1.84 Ze measured = 0.28
So if I do Ze +(R1+R2) I get 2.06
Maximum Zs allowed is 6.14
actual measured Zs is 0.88
This measured Zs is much lower than the max value, I know higher is not good but lower Zs leads to any problems ??
Anyone got any useful tips and advice to make the whole testing procedure faster?
Was having a think and trying to come up with some earlier and all I could think of was possibly using a plug with a flex with connector block on the end to test R1+R2 on sockets? Would that be allowed?
Thanks.
My NAPIT field officier phoned me on Friday, he was doing an MCS assessment and the company has installed a system, had a sparki do the AC side and issue cert, and they were stuck for the DC cert. They asked if i would go along and test DC and commision.
TBH i dont feel happy about it? whats...
So a customer phones up and wants a socket adding. For arguments sake it is to be surface mounted about a meter from an existing socket and cable is to be run in trunking. A quick and easy job for most :)
When you arrive, you find that the CU is an old rewireable, there's no RCD protection...
