I must be confused about some wording,
Light circuit R1+R2 is 1.84 Ze measured = 0.28
So if I do Ze +(R1+R2) I get 2.06
Maximum Zs allowed is 6.14
actual measured Zs is 0.88
This measured Zs is much lower than the max value, I know higher is not good but lower Zs leads to any problems ??
Hi,
I have to use metal conduit in a domestic installation (wearhouse appartment). Im obviously going to have to do some conduit bending etc and I was hoping someone could shed some light on which conduit to use. The heavy gauge galvanised steel conduit looks a bit too heavy duty and looks...
Whats the highest wattage panel you've seen? and by who if you can remember? seen some Chinese ones at 400w and wondered if any of more well known ones have bigger output than 250w or some in the pipeline for release at future date. Might help for future planning.
Why have section 7 - 'observations and recommendation for actions to be taken', when we now have 4 pages of 'inspection schedule'.
Also this further investigation required tick box. Am I right in saying that if you've identified something as a deviation, then no need to tick as you've...
For me, back in the 80s, flat mate was a tube driver, we get back to our home station, Borough, he says 'When there's no train in the station, the power rails are dead, I've already done it elsewhere, go and and sit on the middle rail and touch the outer 4th rail'
Me being an idiot does this...
Yes Maximum Demand again lol
I just tried to make the title a little more curious to get people to look ;)
Just playing with some maximum demand figures, started with 226A and got it down to 104.65A
Just wondering what id the highest figure you have recorded for a 100A fuse?
Is it actually...
The property I was at today meter tails need upgraded as the supply to the consumer unit ain't big enough, anyway the local authorities power supply comes in the garage to an old fashioned isolator (one of those with the handle on it) and then the meter tail comes out and travels about twenty...
I was talking to a few guys on a house refurbishment we have been working on and we got talking about the most profit we had ever earned in one day.
I earned £690 on a job that I thought would take 2 1/2 - 3 days but I managed to do it on a nice long 12 hour day. I even said to the customer...
few months ago I was introduced to a fella who had too much work on his hands and needed a touch, told the fella my day rate and he was more than happy to throw a few days my way.
So off I go to this job for him, which just so happens to be for a builder I know very well, who hasn't even...
Just wondering what methods people did for revision? On exam 205 at the minute and using swindon massive.
If I could get every question right on swindon massive do you reckon I would know enough to pass the exam? As I hear that the questions on there are easier than actual exam questions...
Hi all. I have had a query from a client.
We recently spurred a shower boost pump (400W) off of a local lighting circuit due to there being no local power circuit to connect to. We made an assessment of the lighting circuit loading, deemed it sufficiant to carry the additional load of the pump...
