Hi, please could anybody help me with a wiring diagram for wiring up two adjacent bathrooms to the same fan via relays? The fan is located in the attic space and would need both switches to independently switch the fan. Thanks in advance

Laurie - just check the drawing again. One pole of each switch switches the fan and the other pole switches the light in that room. All looks good to me.[/QUOTE] This is the way forward and works, no need to complicate things with relays , it is straight forward. Altho i must admit the first time i needed to do it i scratched my head for a while. I also had to use grid switches as i had additional LED lighting

Exactly - and since it's a double pole switch and you can't switch one pole without the other and the live side is common ... what is it achieving?

Thanks to all those who came up with good constructive solutions to my conundrum especially Lamb for the diagram, i really appreciate your knowledge.
To the others who used the thread to have a bitch and come up with at best a rubbish cartoon show full of emos' is this what you really spend your leisure time doing!
