I'm sure I'd look really cool with Tesco tools

Thought they were the new Homeserve!!

they look very much like the bosch 10.8v tools. the batts are 20 quid a piece. just wondered if anyone had any?

Probably are Phil, I brought one of those cheep Screwie Site 14.4 drills just for the batteries to use in me makita

:D don`t knock the tesco tools i have some Netto ones :D so you would be a class up on me and rocker :D:D
at that price you could afford a can of green spray
 
At ÂŁ22 each I don't reckon you could go far wrong. If they break within the first year you just take them back and get your money back.
 
I was thinking of having a crack, but '10.8' always puts me off, even if it's written on a Hilti or a Protool. I never go lower than 18v. The 'pistol driver' looks kind of appealing, shame it ain't an impact driver tho...

I would say it is more about the bits than the torque of the drill. I use high quality Fisch auger bits for drilling out mortices and peg holes...
