First question are 10mm earth bonds ment to go back to MET or can they go into Ccu?

Can i extend a 10mm bond using a single box and blank plate and large terminal strip. Is this permissible and within the regs?
Im using this job for a niceic inspection so just a little confused on the correct niceic way :prrr:

Thanks in advance

I would extend by joining with a 10mm straight through crimp lug then cover joint with grn/yel tape, perfect. I'm sure everyone will agree.

The main equipotential bonding conductor should be a continues cable.

If you are to bond more than one service with the same cable this is acceptable but the main bonding conductor should remain unbroken thus maintaining continuity of other extraneous conductive parts should one be disconnected for whatever reason.

Fixing another earth block is not acceptable for bonding conductors

The only way I would extend is by useing an approprate through crimp correctly crimped and sleeved with heat shrink and then tested if there way no other way.

They can go where ever you want them to, providing they are effectively connected to the MET in accordance with BS7671.

Will this method comply with Section 526 and 543.3?

Well there's lots of guidance on these matters, some mentioned above.
