Hi Gents

Client requirement is for 125 kVA Distribution Board,
What does it mean ?

Thanks

amps when KW is known (3 phase calc shown). 125kva is 100KW

kW x 1000
1.73 x E x PF

E is the voltage(400) and PF around 0.8

I get 180A per phase max

Amps where KVA is known

kVA x 1000
1.73 x E

Or single phase

kVA x 1000
E

=543A.

Correct me if I'm wrong

It’s 180A at 400V.

But now I’m going to ask a serious question. Are you competent to undertake this?

To ask the question in the first place would suggest not. I’m sorry but it’s not aunties fuse board under the stairs.
