12v downlights

hi i have a job where there are 2 downlights in some shelves and when you turn the switch on one light comes on straight away and the other turns on about 1-2 seconds after it. they have the same type of transformer and same lamps and the cable to the second lamp is about 10m of 1.0 t&e.any thoughts ?

Transformer, try swapping them over.

cheers i will swap round and check.if that works i will change them for new ones.

no it is 10m from one light to the next light.
