I'm currently in the middle of gutting the downstairs toilet. It will only have a toilet and a small cloak room sink.

I plan to have a mirror and x1 2 gang socket outlet for the misses to straighten her hair because she refuses to do in the bedroom because there is no mirror.

Is this deemed acceptable? It's not a bathroom or any other special location?

The consumer unit is on the wall behind the toilet so it makes sense to utilise one of the spare ways.

Quick thoughts on a circuit are to install a radial on a 20A mcb. 4mm t+e. Length will be amount 1 metre.

I would like a socket that's as flush as it can be against the tiles. I've seen this which looks good.

Yes Mate just got back from Tesco, welcome anytime, although there is one member who thinks I drink 3 or 4 bottles at a time.
well that's just plain silly. how can you fit 3 - 4 bottles in your gob? mind you with some members it might be OK.

Put the mirror in the bedroom then, not the toilet. Mirrors are not notifiable, nor do you have to do testing.

Yeh I understand that. Other issue is, we have 2 small children. In the morning it's not a good ideal to have to either go upstairs and straighten hair or to have to take the kids upstairs just for that.

It's just easier for us this way
