Discuss 15A or 20A GFCI? in the UK Electrical Forum area at ElectriciansForums.net
Yes by the NEC you are required to have a GFCI receptacle with bubble cover. About the receptacles rated at 15 amps, that’s normal and they sell outlets rated 20 amps but is usually installed on dedicated circuits.I have several 15A outlets connected to a 20A circuit. This circuit continues to our deck. Should I install a 15A or 20A GFCI outlet on the deck?
Thanks for the reply, but I still am unclear as to whether I should install a 15A or 20A GFCI on the deck.Yes by the NEC you are required to have a GFCI receptacle with bubble cover.
