16mm meter tail cable has a double layer of insulation. What do all think of removing the outer layer of insulation, to make it flexible, when the cable is being run entirely in plastic trunking.

It must be a tight spot if your having trouble with 16mm. When I get to use 16mm tails rather than 25mm its like a holiday.
I would just buy tri-rated singles in run in containment, saves damaging the insulation when stripping the outer sheath off
It is 3 inch trunking. Not that tight. As it is inside trunking making it more flexible occurred to me. The trunking adds insuation value. Why do things the hard way? But as been mentioned, it may not make that much difference as the copper may be the stiffness.

love using 16mm tails , one day i will start a campaign to ban 25mm tails and make 16mm tails the law
