I'll be changing 2x 3036 wylex boards in a large house soon for a 17th edition board. I asked my local wholesaler about prices for a 17 way dual RCD board...."never heard of anything that size!"

Is it that uncommon to change a dometic board of this size?

I'd rather get a big board that install 2x smaller one's (however will do if need be)

Anyone used one of these?

Any feed back appreciated.

Cheers all!

17 or 18 way boards aren't uncommon and are getting more popular..... I'd say get a new wholesaler if he's never heard of one!

Thanks all for the replies. I haven't used one of the stackable ones before so will give them a try. Phil have you used any from Meteor? Looks like just the enclosure and buy RCD's and MCB's seperate. Does it come with all the other gubbings like links busbar for the MCB's etc or can you buy these seperate!

Thank you all gents ;)

I've used the Meteor stuff - the plastics seem a bit cheap but hey, they are cheap! Normally the boards come with incomers and 1 or 2 rcds but you have to check the listing or the picture. The MCBs are seperate, but you can get MCBs as cheap as 88p on meteor! I think thy're brilliant and use them regularly..... but if you want MK quality plastics, go elsewhere!

EDIT: yep they come with busbars, a couple of blanks, an extra case fixing, extra busbar holders and an RCD sticker.
