Hi All

Sitting 2382 17th edition update course next week (22.12.11) and wonder if anyone can advise where I can get access to sample exam questions. I know that the exam is computer based and have found 1 list of questions on this forum but am looking for more examples (I need all the practice I can get )

thanks

Can I assume that if you are doing the update 16th to 17th?

If so don't worry, you will walk it after the one day course. It is only 1 hour 30 question paper, and most are about the updates.

You will either sit the GOLA (global online assessment) or more likely the eVolve which is being phased in to replace GOLA with city and guilds training providers. The good thing with eVolve is that you can see which Q's you have answered, not answered, and flagged just at a glance, you also have a progress bar and elapsed timer next to it, this is all on the screen whilst you are doing the test. You can also set the screen up to your own preference with text colours etc.

Cheers.........Howard

PM me your email and I'll send you shed loads inc a simulator. Good for the red book test and should be fine even if being tested on the new green one. Gave to one guy and he got 100%.

Best advice is to know your way around the regs,, how to find, say, tripping times on a D rated breaker,,just knowing what area of the book or page its on, 30seconds later question answered...Your also allowed to flag pages of your BS 7671, have names on each section...
I found that the simulator questions helped me find my way around the book, but the questions were diffrent.
Answer the questions you know first, then go back to the ones you need to look up the answers for...
There'll be Q's on selection and erection of equipment, trippings times, warning signs, special locations, (farms/caravan sites etc), health and safety, ------ if you know your way around BS7671, you'll be ok -- flag the sections to make it quicker to find the answers,,which are all in the book
Good luck
