17th edition online course

alright, just found out there that you can do the 17th edition whole course online what ever time suits you so you dont have to go to the tech, you can do this on the neic web site, bad news is that its £400, i was wanting to know has anyone done it? is it worth doing it online? cheers City & Guilds 17th Edition (BS7671:2008) – see our new online solution - Electrical Training - NICEIC Group

Hi, I've just come across this site and I need to get me 17th edition ASAP but really can't afford to take 3 days off, i live in leeds so would appreciate more info on where you took your exam. Many thanks in advance. bmunslow at gmail.com

i know of a place in west yorkshire that will allow you to do just that. if anyone wants the details PM me. thats how I did mine i paid £30 for a simulator and £50+ the govs bit and it was job done. the only thingg was they would only allow me to do the full 17th exam ie all 60 questions instead of the 30 but hey ho for a saving of £300 ish i did not mind answering thirty extra questions for that.
