hi

just completed level 3 2330 3 - 4 weeks ago. I heard on the grapevine that i have to register within a month or two to do my 17th edition. (or something like that)

Trade skills 4u never told us this but am wondering if this is true?

thanks,

nick

Hi Nick,

I work for Trade Skills 4U and have just checked with the team. As far as we can tell there is no need to register within a specific time frame to do your 17th Edition regs.

I think you may have heard about an amendment to the regulations which are going to be finalised in June. For more info check out this article: Electrical Times - Features

ahh thank you...

Im quite new to the game and I've been hearing a lot of different things lately and its all becoming a bit confusing. ive just completed my level 2 and level 3 2330... in your opinion what do you think i should do next?

Hi Nick,

Most people would do the 17th edition next and if you already have the 2330 3 you should be able to simply do the 1 day update course to save time and money.

If you need more detailed advice I would speak to someone in the trade and see what they recommend.

Regards

Chris

Nope, you can do it whenever. Same applies to the 18th edition when it comes out.

As it stands you can currently just do the 1 day update because you did the 2330 to the 17th; when the 18th comes out you'd probably have to do the whole course.
