17th edition

im about to spend £260 for a 17th edition course. im 18 before i do this does anyone know if i can get this funded by the government or anything thanks - mike

? Odd that wait till 18th if you can or you will be wasting money

Only way ill do 17th is if jtl pay for it

To the OP, it seems if you want to be JIB graded for more commercial type work then you don't need a separate 17th edition qualification, but if you want to join NICEIC for domestic notifiable work (and I'm guessing the other competent persons schemes are the same) then you should look for a college that will let you do the exam only option.
