18th edition EIC Schedule of Tests form

Hi Everyone,

Just a quick question, in the 18th edition wiring regulations book page 483 the schedule of tests results form it shows IR tests Live-Live & Live-Earth
Are they now going away from the Line-Neutral, Line-Earth & Neautral-Earth & just doing the combined test?

Live-Live and Live- Earth covers all those variations you have stated.

Line-Neutral = Live-Live
Line-Earth = Live-Earth
Neutral-Earth = Live-Earth

it's that N is now classed as a "live" conductor. so yout L-L column would be L-N and L-Ewould be the lower or the readings L-E or N-E.

confused? you will be.

Its just before line-line was for ie 3phase
