Yeah, that’s what I was wondering.
Though it would be odd to change it for the 3rd amendment then change it back again.
Ok so had a look today in my new big blue book and its definitely 1.37 for a 32amp type b so that simulator is incorrect .
. The book is now safe back on the shelf, don't want to ware it out just yet. Although i will have to make it look like its had some use before mr NIC comes round for his visit

I bought a cheapie 17th edition yellow from Amazon . After about six months the pages started falling out from the centre.
I've bought at least the last 3 sets of regs from Amazon and had no issues at all.

Did you buy direct from Amazon, or through Amazon with another seller? This link is from Amazon itself, not a reseller or anything so will be a legit copy.

To be honest I am not sure . I bought the blue edition from them and it was fine. I bought loads of other electrical books from them and they have all been OK. It was only the 17th yellow edition I had a problem with.
I have bought the 18th, OSG and the GN3 when it is published for £127 from a link posted by one of the members here.

On Amazon I can be a seller (like ebay). They also fulfil orders for others (I dunno how that works to be honest, other sellers must send amazon stock). This one is from Amazon itself.

Thanks for taking the time to explain that . :)

I used to buy quite a lot from them , so a lot of stuff used to pop up recommended as you will know .
I probably got a 'seller'. I will take care in the future.

I didn't push it to be honest . I could still manage to use it .
It did stop me buying as much from them though as they were my first stop shop.

Amazon do operate an in-house print on demand service, which they maintain is to maximise availability of books, if out of stock from the publisher. Book publishers of course have different opinions, as it decimates their margins. As a customer, this should be transparent, as the quality and look of the finished product should be identical.
A reference book, such as our books, of course needs to be bound sturdier than a novel that may be read just a few times. I wonder if this requirement is even on Amazon's radar?

I think just about every copy of GN3 I’ve seen has been falling apart.
Makes life easy for scanning.
