Changing to built in double fan oven. 45A cooker switch which is supplied with 6mm from 20A mcb . Double fan oven is rated at 4.1kw.

4100/230=17.82

Would the flex be ok as it can carry up to 25A and less than a metre be used.

What do you guys suggest?
 
Needed to prove to the other spark that what i explained to him was right lol im sure that he either misheard and thought that i said 1.5mm. Ill find out and see if he says anything tomorrow
 
A lot of built in ovens are only 2kw - 3kw kind of area and many even come with 13A plugs fitted on flex.

Do you mean a 2.5mm2 tri-rated flex which is also heat resistant, or a bit of 2.5mm2 ordinary household flex off the back of the van?
