2.5mm t+e and 4mm t+e on same circuit

hi, iv found that a radial circuit in my house has a mixture of 2.5mm twin and earth and 4mm twin and earth but its on a 20 amp breaker, im sure this is ok, can someone just confirm it for me please?

Yeah that will be ok mate shouldnt really have 2 different size conductors on same circuit without fuseing down but see as the smallest conductor the 2.5 is ok on a 20amp cb it will be fine mate

they used to wire bungalows in the same way years ago
