If i have a sub main do i have to do 2 eic certs or the 1 and when i get to circuit details write in the sub main circuits.
Im thinking 2 as u can then put in the supply characteristics from the main ccu?

As far as I am aware you just need 1 IEC and 2 schedule of test results.
The first test results page will show Ze at incomer, and Zs from main switch at sub main (recorded as distribution circuit).
The second test results page then has the previous Zs figure as the Ze figure, with R1+R2 of circuits added to give a final Zs.

Although the second test sheet says Ze its sometimes refered to as Zdb.
Hope that helps and makes sense.

When running a submain from the intake position, all the details are recorded as normal at the intake, Ze, pfc etc.

Then at the CU you treat the submain feeding that, as a circuit, but, depending on who your scheme provider is, you record the Ze at the cu, (or in this case would be Zs for the submain) in the relevant box.

Top line of the cert will be your sub main, then underneath, record the CU circuits details as normal.
