I have a friend who works for A DNO, and this is a problem that they are coming across more often, the problem is their supply is within tolerance, so they are reluctant to turn it down, as in times of high demand they may go out of tolerance at the lower end.
I am sorry to point this out, but it was all fine until you did your install, and if you check the incoming voltage it is not as high as your inverter voltage, therefore an installation problem.
But unless you ask the answer is no.

The way I see it, even if calculated, if all is fine until maximum output, then the AC cable is too small.
Try running a large AC cable from your inverters to supply , just tempory for a couple of days, if it cures it then there is your problem.
Sorry, I do not mean to sound rude, just trying to help.

DNO came round today to check voltage after customer complaint about very high mains voltage over 250vac. First thing engineer asked "have you got solar panels installed?". He said this is a common "fault" and request from customers with solar PV. Its now turned down to 240VAC on the pole (still not the 230vac, if we will ever see that rolled out?) lol

I have had thius problem, apparently some of these inverters were meant for other coutries and they do not conform to our regs. Try taking the black cover off and underneath you will see there are three wheels with numbers on, set the one on the left five and the one next to it to eight. This will set the inverter to our G83 setting, do not mess with grid guard code that is a bit tricky, I have set three inverters like this and they all worked fine afterwards.

Blimey if you didn't do that during commissioning.......... The SMAs will lock after a few hours running and WILL require the grid guard code.

Anyway I spoke to G59 commissioning witness guy the other day and he has been to numerous jobs where the installer didn't understand that the inverter settings needed to be ukg83/g59 and they weren't even able to show what it was set to, some right muppets out there....
I have to say don't touch what you don't understand !!!!

I have never had one lock and I have fitted about forty of these inverters, they do not normally need setting they should come factory set to G83, this is what I was told to do by SMA.
