1st time on here
I am changing a 2 gang lightswitch on my top landing that controls top landing light and the one on the floor below
The old switch is wired as follows
Blue wire with red sleeve to L2 top
Red wire to L3 top
Yellow wire with red sleeve to L1 bottom
Yellow with red sleeve to L1 top
2 red wires to L3 bottom
Black and blue wire to L2 bottom

New switch has the following

Top - comm , L2 , L1
Bottom L2 , L1 and comm

Can someone advise me what wires should go where

Thanks very much

Rule1. Photograph the connections before disconnecting anything b

But it's usually too late by the time we see the results.
DIYers who get it wrong, think they can do the job and disconnect everything, then realise it's not the same.
Then we get pics of 3 cables coming out of a ceiling or something like that.

My favorite is when a light fitting is replaced..
“I put all the reds together and all the blacks and it just went bang”
No no no the best one is when a mate phones you and says his lights aren't working so you ask has he done any work to the lights the answer is always nooooooooooo, you turn up walk in to the house and notice a brand new light fitting in the living room...........

Didn't you have Polaroids for selfies etc back in the day lol?? Obvs before my time......haha
More like this I believe,

Furthermore, as the left hand switch will currently not do anything, I'd try the loose brown in here:
