Nicely put HT, but you forgot one essential: Ask questions of people, especially people like Hightower & listen to their answers. They've been through or are going through the modern training route & are ideally placed to help you.

yes it was an open book exam but the duration of time is not much . its easier for the experienced eletricians to cope . i have paid a large sum of money about £2500 hoping to be an apprentice earning low wages so as to gain experience after the 20 days course

It is easier for the electricians because the regs exam is designed for qualified electricians as an addition to their qualifications.

I afraid to say you have been conned out of £2500.

Regs isnt a hard exam, usually courses put this towards the end of the training package as you would of picked up a lot of info.

What exactly is the course and where
