It reminds me of an old saying: It's only 200 if it's definitely 200, if it's over 200 then it's not actually 200 at all, it's bigger than 200. I think. It was in latin so I'm not sure. Daz

I still say it's correct to put a 'greater than' sign. The 200 isn't an actual value, it's just the meter that has reached its limit of measurement. If someone comes along next time and uses a meter with an FSD of 999, it will show 999 this time, but the circuit IR hasn't changed. Daz

Mine was a particularly imposing,child-unfriendly fossil,whose obsession with the past,convinced the headmaster to place him in charge of lads futures...and made him "Careers Adviser".

He only said three things to me..."Go in to journalism,like your parents" (never an ambition...)

"Get an apprenticeship at Kelloggs,Ciba Giegy or Shell" (not a desire...)

"Then you have no future,that i can assist with...next..." (thanks,failing 70's grammar..)

I was telling my mates son,who is at a notable secondary near me,just how dangerous,school was,in the 70's

I don't have many mates,my age,who have not had old teachers prosecuted or investigated....one legendary biology teacher being at Minshull street this week:bobby: ..."weather" or not he's guilty,we will have to see.....(i'm going for a yes)


Yep,in a lot of regards,the 5 years i did at my local Grammar,were as fraught with risk,as the 2 years some of my friends did,in the regiment......and they were in the Falklands after 1 year in!
