2330 course price increases

Hello again,

I don't know if my college is the only one but I noticed that the first year (part time) of the 2330 level 2 course has gone up in price by 36% (from £589 to £802) from last year. The 2nd year only went up by about 16% ((£435 to £505)which seems a lot even so) and the level three course has jumped up by a whopping 86% (£550 to £1025) All of the concession prices stayed the same (but I don't qualify )

Is this normal? Is it my college having a laugh or are there perhaps some changes to the course from C&G that would justify such a large increase? If thats the price I will have to pay it, but it would be interesting to know if any of you know anything.

My first year would have been £674.50 although I paid £35 because I wasn't working (I couldn't get benefits though because I wouldn't give up college to work on Mondays, so I wouldn't class myself as a benefits scrounger).

Second year cost £674.50 which I paid in 2 installments

Third year I have to find £1009.11 from somewhere.

Back on topic boys

My college had a direct debit facility which I think most offer. 20% deposit followed by 8 monthly instalments. Makes it a bit easier.

Mine allows three instalments, but the first has to be £420, more than half!!!

And they charge £30 admin on top !!!
