2330 level 3 - any news?

Hi,

Just finishing my 2330 level 2 and I'm getting mixed messages from college staff about whether L3 will go ahead next academic year... and no news of funding as Adult Learner but I guess that's following on from decision on which courses they'll run.

Anyone out there in same position heard anything definate from their college?

my local college is taking the present Level 2 students on for level 3, but not sure if they are starting anymore at level 2. They are however being affected by redundancies so some courses might go or numbers be reduced.

I have completed level 2 and my college started us on level 3 3 weeks ago so we could enroll. I think people will be enrolling next year but at what cost i don't know.

my college is doing the level 3 in september. course has doubled in price to £900. i have been told that if want to do the nvq 2356 i must enroll soon

Just heard - from the head of department - that the 2330 won't go ahead at the college.

From another source I believe there will be no funding from September, but I think his decision was based simplyfying the porting-across process for any L2 2330 level student who turns up in the next few years.

So for me, 2330 RIP.

My College is doing the level 3 this year. and i was told by Student services that i should be good for Funding .

Surely anyone who starts 2330 should be entitled to finnish the qualification? I for one would be demanding a refund if I couldn't finnish level 3!
