Awful course, but it did give people a chance who didn't work in the industry a chance!

This new course would appear to be aimed at the under 25 year olds who are already within the trade...

Seems like a lot of the science and principles have been done away with......in favour of someone watching you srew a piece of trunking to a wall.

Im suppose to be doing 2330 level 3 in September. But because of the new qualification funding for older students on the level 2 has to be arranged before July for the level 3.Guess what my college recons they can’t arrange funding before July because of there budget. So I asked how much will it cost me they told me the full cost is 2 to £3k if that’s the case I don’t know what Im going to do it ***** me off that they change the rules when your half way through

What I mean is that they have to match the course to the requirements of I think SummitSkills.

City and Guilds are the people who set the criteria down otherwise they would no isue the certs

They don't have carte blanche. They must fulfil the requirements of the Sector Skills Councils.
