2357 !!

hi there...this is my first post so would like to say hello to everyone,at present im at college doing the 2330 2 nights a week but last night the lecturer brought up the subject of the new {not yet finalised } 2357 qualifacation which will take over from the 2330 ....ALARM BELLS !!!!!....this will basically {if introduced in the current format} limit anyone not working in the industry but taking the 2330 to only ever being an electricians mate/improver !!...im even more annoyed with the fact that my college has not even mentioned a word !...has anyone else any news on this subject ...

you never mentioned what level you are doing, Did my level 3 a few year back but never completed the nvq3 but since hearing about the changes ive jumped straight into nvq now to make sure theres no probs in future.

I have heard you can complete the 2330 but there is no funding available so you need to meet the whole cost approx £4000 per year or something silly

Hi fingers i gave c&g a call today the bloke i spoke to said that you able to finish your qual in 2330. im in the boat as you just comin to tthe end of my first yr. forgot to ask about fundin. what a plonker doh lol
