2382-10 and 2377

Hi all, just wondering if you guys think its worth me getting these 2 qualifications :

2382-10 17th edition
2377 pat testing

I am quite confident I can pass them but im currently an apprentice and have only been in the job 7 months or so and dont start my first year of college until september.

What do you think ?
Is it pointless ?

Basically yes .......................will you not cover the regulations during your apprenticeship?

The other the PAT testing, maybe worth getting but again I'd wait to later when your nearing coming out of your time

The sooner you obtain the 2382-10 the better you will do in your other studies on your apprenticeship.

The 17th will come with your course studies, so you don't need it. It is for older sparks

I agree with Widdler but what about the amendments? Would it be better for the OP to hold on until they come out?

a good observation, some centres are now already including the 1st amendment in their syllabus, so it would be a good thing to consider.
