I'm trying to find somewhere in the Newcastle upon Tyne area to do 17th edition 2011 update. Going to do the home study but looking for somewhere to do just the exam.. Any help?

Don't know about the update but try south tyneside college Dave. If you get Greg Peacock as the tutor you'll have a laugh while doing it, he's a nutter

John Barron took my update course, he's a good bloke. Mike Ennis did the 2391 for me, another great guy.
The other one, Brian Hall, knows his stuff. Maybe a bit pedantic at times but no getting away from it he knows what he's going on about

sick as **** at the min john, hes stressed as he said the college are overloading the staff and everyones overworked. he went on the sick at the end of our course and missed the last couple of weeks, we all passed like. how did you find the 2391, its two parts now and costs a lot more.

There's still a lot of redundancies to come at STC mate so John might be worrying about that too
First time I did 2391 I underestimated it and didn't work as hard as I should have, as a result I passed the practical but failed the theory. Second time round I worked bloody hard and passed.
