Recommended outdoor double socket

These vary a lot in price, specification, design and build quality, what would be the recommended make and type?

Depends on what you mean by 'outdoor'. For outdoor sockets that aren't facing south or west, or have a degree of shelter, I haven't had any problems with BG, but for full on exposed situations it has to be MK Masterseal.
All need to be fitted on perfectly flat surfaces, so as not to distort the back box and encourage leaks.
You also need to consider what you want to plug in. Some will only take ordinary 13A plugs, while others have room for the smaller sizes of plug in power supplies.
Also, none are more waterproof than the seal around where the cable enters.
