Just done my 2391-10 and found it pretty tough.. Anyone else out there do it tonight? What is a statutory document that governs the distribution network? Is it the electricity at work regulations?

Hi swifters, just did mine tonight as well in Chichester, it was a tough one alright! I thought the reg was the electricity supply, continuity and quality regulations, ESCQR. What IR test did you do for the lamposts? I did line and N together to cpc @ 250V because of the voltage sensitive photocells!! I think i might have fluffed it

Must have fluffed that one. Only know of two stat documents. I covered both angles and said if it was not possible to link out photocells then 250v if possible 500v. Really not feeling confident. Wonder what the pass mark will be? I've heard it floats between 73% and 76% but might be a load of bull for I know.

You didn't need to alter the test voltage as the question asked you to IR test the SWA supply cable to the bottom off the lighting columns only!, as their was a service cut out at the base of the column you could disconnect there

Darn I must have missed that, guess thats another 15 points down the pan!

Don't think u will lose all 15 marks because y get marks for correct meter selection, mentioning. GS38 ect ect

I seem to remember it said lighting circuit and swa cable? Might be wrong though.

I understand it was asking you to test IR on the SWA to the lamp posts

Fail. OOps. Will try again but congrats on your pass. Does anyone know where you can get a list of all the stat and not stat documents that cover electrical installations? One of the first questions was what stat (possiby non stat) document covers the supply network?
