2391 Course April 2011

Hi guys,
Ive heard this ones a *******.Enrolled at the same college i did my three years at ,12 week Weds eves.
From what i understand u have to swallow guidence note 3 and quote almost word perfect answers.
Is it a bad as tutors say with less than 50per cent pass rate across the country?
If so can anyone advise on a good study pattern and a City and Guilds markers no.for the bribe lol.
No seriously any advice on this one would go down a treat.

gn3 and the on site guide mate. also some practice with past papers will help. be consistent with the reading mate and you will do it. oh and the terminology needs to be bang on

I've attached the chief examiner's report from the last course.

It was a 31.56% PASS, 68.44% FAIL.

wow thats not far off an all time low for passes. wonder what the december one will be like after the thursday night fiasco

i have seen it up at 50% depends on the exam and the guys taking it really

i always wondered how some test ctrs can let the guys take say the march exam that runs on a thursday night on the week before on a tues morning. thought that would be against the rules

Well it's against the rules we are given from C&G.

good luck to anyone taking it. another bit of advice guys that applies to all exams really. if it starts at 6:30 , don`t be turning up at 25 past. get there an hour early chill out with a coffee, and anything you think you might forget just brain dump onto your scrap paper. ie rcd trip times resistances etc. also get familiar with the drawings of the systems, some nice easy points to be had there. read the questions properly and sometimes the questions that follow sometimes give a clue to previous ones

a ctr not too far from me do it. infact a couple do. i have two mate who have done theirs that way. one of them rang me up on a tuesday and told me he had just done his 91 i thought he meant the prac but he said no its the written
