Just done 2391 theory, not too confident about passing. How did everyone else find it?

I think I nailed it tbh - will let you know in a few weeks

luckily a few obscure things i picked up on revising this afternoon were in the exam.

the scenario part was a pain in the arse tho!!

2 of the questions were the 'describe in detail' :|

and one was the fully labelled 15 point diagram of the EFLI path

was wlking out of the exam at 1hr 45mins

good luck to you, i got my fingers crossed

the percentage fluctuates depending on the difficulty of the exam and the calibur of candidates

i think the view is - you are either of the standard or not.

not we'll pass the top 40 or 50 percentile

october 2009 - 53% passed
august 2009 - 40%
july 2009 - 43%
june 2009 - 42%

as said above, my 2391 test was to complete a pir from the data given on the test paper, we were then given a question on volt drop on a shower circuit, ie a 230v supply feeds a shower circuit which is fifty foot away from the db, work out the volt drop, when 10mm/2.5mm earth was used, then on the same supply if a 45 amp rcd type B would suffice for a 9kw shower, we had to show all the values and state weather or not the circuit was satisfasctory to the then 16th. on the practical test we had a mock up db board with lights, sockets and switches, in which we had to do continuity tests, insulation tests and a visual test of thre dbs breakers, of which one had no markings, so it was deemed a fail, and we had to state FAIL, before the tester lets us go. if we had said pass then we would have failed the practical.
