Hi All,

Just a quick note to say I'm just been told I've passed my2391 Inspection & Testing exam (sat the exam in feb).

I have to admit to feeling bloomin chuffed with myself being 1 of the 40% that pass the course, considering that I'm not actually working in the trade as a day job.

Anyone else out there passed the feb exam ??

Cheers
Steve

Hi Steve, Congratulations on passing your 2391. And I hope that you're not going to let such a talent go to waste. Are you thinking of working in the trade then?

Ideally I need someone to work alongside to build up confidence and 'practical knowhow' that you only obtain from actually doing the job.

Starting up for myself is an option but I see it as a risk. Just out of interest, how much does it cost to set up on your own ? I've already got tools & calibrated meters.

Cheap van £1000
Elecsa registration £400
Insurance £??? - what's required here. I assume public liability insurance is needed, but what else ?

Are there any 'hidden' costs ?

Cheers
Steve
