IM new to this forum so hello everyone ! if u don't need the 2391 to become an approved contractor with the nic eic then what is the point the exam????? ! I no it's good to have more qualifications but it's just a thought !!!

Well that's because they call it a 'Hoover' rather than a 'Megger' !

IMO 2391-10 and 2391-20 should be requirements before calling yourself an electrician. 2330 level 3 starts on design but doesn't go into it too much.

Any idea when it was introduced?, i have friends who completed theirs back in 1996, so im aware its been around a long time
