Didnt think it was too bad made 1 or 2 silly mistakes
What did you put for the carpark scenario? i pressume we have had the same paper :)
It said detail 5 checks to make to carpark lighting before testing ...well along those lines
1 I put check swa for any signs of mechanical damage
2 check timer and fittings for thermal damage due to loose connections and arching
3 check glands and terminations of swa
4 check swa run in prescibed zones
5 check for signs of erosion

I thought my answers were ok but found it hard to elaborate in detail as was asked or i may just have missed the point altogether lol
Anyway good luck all

Yeah, tough one. I would have went along the lines of,
1) find point of isolation at the origin of the circuit,
2) look at design data
3) determine this matches and count the points / turn on and off to see if there are any variations.
4) visual inspection.
5) still thinking about this one.. Lol

what was the question again haha.
your answer has made the doubt slowly start creeping l:)

I too just sat it, also think it went okay, with a couple silly mistakes. I just started a thread in here also relating to the periodic tests.

In answer to your questions.
1) gland locking nuts are tight
2) equipment secure and fixed
3) earthing terminations present
4) mechanical corrosion damage
5) ingress of moisture

This question threw me a bit!!! Found section A pretty straight forward really!!! Definitely dropped marks in section B just hoping I have done enough to scrap through! Oh we'll no point worrying now only 45 working days till results!! Anyone know the actual pass mark??

Where did you guys sit your exam?

I found section A not to bad, but made mistakes in section B and struggled to get 15 marks out of an insulation resistance test , hopefully i scrapped through.

Again section A fairly easy few silly mistakes on B, I sat the exam at Chichester College, West Sussex.
Good luck all are you all resits as well how many attempts this is my 2nd

No this was my first time doing it! I hope I don't have to end up going 2394 and 2395 route as the march resit is the last one!! Done mine in Croydon.

So what will happens to the guys who have done the course, passed the practical, but failed the theory, then fail the resit again in March

My heads hurting so what happens to us guys who have the 2391 (the proper testing exam) so were going to have 2394 2395 2391 are they all going to get you a start testing

2394/2395 will replace 2392/2391. If you hold 2391 already there is no need to take the new exam. (YET!)

I imagine that once established, 2394/2395 will be the qualification employees will ask for

Yeah this was my 2nd attempt at the theory. Just an NICEIC persued money spinner with the new quals.

I thought this was last chance saloon, are you saying there's another resit in March?
