I didnt answer this question as part of my 2392 practical..I can jus about remember it, i wasnt sure how to do it, any help would be appreacited..thanks

A consumer asked to install a heater in a conservatory.

3kw Heater
Length of Cable 25m

Design the circuit.

1. Cable Size =
2. Fuse Size =
3. R1 + R2 Value =
4. Zs Value =
5. Volt drop =
6. Maximum Demand =
7. PFC

Also, Rule of thumb, does it apply or not?

Eh ??? the only thing you have to do in the 2392 practical is the Single phase testing and fill in the EIC and compare the results with GN3

Who are you doing the Course with ???

As there are no Questions in the 2392 Practical and the the Theory is a online multiple choice GOLA exam

4 and 7 are impossible to calc without a Ze value and i don't see what 6 in the usual sense has got to do with it

edit unless 4 is talking about a max permissible Zs , in which case it should say so!
